Student Thesis Award - Call for Applications

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit their semester paper/thesis to the 2009 Canadian Obesity Network National Student Thesis Competition.

The winner of the award will receive $500.

This award goes to the best paper on any topic related to obesity by an undergraduate or graduate student in any discipline, regardless of membership in the Canadian Obesity Network.

Your thesis should be a maximum of 5 pages, which includes references, tables and graphs. A short abstract (max. 250 words) should accompany the paper.

Submissions should be sent electronically to Christina Giese at giese@obesitynetwork.ca.

An independent jury will review each submission. All decisions are final. The best submissions will be posted on the CON website.

Submissions can be in French or English. French submissions should include an English abstract.

Deadline: May 31st, 2010
